I just heard Railroad Commissioner Victor Carrillo speak. He opened up in Spanish, which received cheers from across the auditorium. He introduced the four special women in his life - his wife and three beautiful daughters, and remarked that he has his very own Carrillo Republican Women's chapter.
He touched on the idea that Republicans do not represent minorities
"I have been embraced by this party. I have server as city councilman, (and other duties he listed too fast for me to write down) before becoming the highest state-wide elected hispanic."And I do believe he said "grass-roots" more in this speech than any other speaker.
Remember when you were a kid and you would repeat a word over and over again, until it sounded wierd and lost its meaning? That's what I'm talking about.
