Is anyone surprised at what is being found in Fallujah?
Iraqi troops have found "hostage slaughterhouses" in Fallujah where foreign captives were held and killed, the commander of Iraqi forces in the city said Wednesday.

Troops found CDs and documents of people taken captive in houses in the northern part of Fallujah, Maj. Gen. Abdul Qader Mohammed Jassem Mohan told reporters.

Go read Jay Tea's In Praise of Civilian Casualties while keeping this news report in mind. Note: I agree with the commenter that mentioned that the post would be better named "In Defense of Civilian Casualties" but regardless of the title, the post is excellent.

The point is not that we want civilian casualties; the point is that we cannot let the prospect of civilian casualties keep us from victory. Keep in mind that most civilian casualties in Iraq over the past year have been from terrorist – either beheading hostages or bombing public places. Clearing the cancer from Fallujah increases the security of Iraq, and (in my opinion) the United States
