In light of an ongoing controversy which threatens to tarnish the image of the world body, the UN has decided to unhire the person responsible*:
A New Zealand doctor who co-wrote a book exposing how the United Nations failed to stop genocide in Rwanda and Bosnia is being laid off by the UN. Wellington-born Andrew Thomson – one of three UN workers who wrote Emergency Sex and Other Desperate Measures: A True Story from Hell on Earth – has been told his contract will not be renewed from the end of the month.*responsible for pointing out the problem.
