The federal Anti-Terrorism Act of 1990 is finally employed:
The parents of a U.S.-born Jewish teen killed by Palestinian militants near a West Bank bus stop eight years ago call a $156 million federal court award against three Islamic charities and an alleged Hamas fundraiser "justice." Islamic groups call it "religious persecution."Such charities are only held liable if it can be shown that they gave material support to the responsible terror organization, which was Hamas in this particular case. If you are a charity sending money abroad, you had better be absolutely sure who is receiving it and what their MO is.
