Although it is almost a trivial issue compared to the loss of homes and life, it also appears the New Orleans Saints have found a home for at least part of the 2005 season:

The best thing about this name change is that appropriate Cheerleader outfits are already readily available.
Negotiations on a deal that would move half of the New Orleans Saints' 2005 home games to the Alamodome reached the point of near-agreement Thursday with final NFL approval the only remaining hurdle, sources said. Sources close to the negotiations said city officials and Saints officials have hammered out a deal that would bring regular-season NFL games to San Antonio for the first time — and could portend a permanent move by the Saints to the Alamo City.I think this is a great idea although I'm somewhat concerned by the cultural differences between the two cities. You see, New Orleans has a french heritage while San Antonio is spanish in origin. However, there is a very simple solution to this problem: translation. We start with the name of the city, and although it seems like this translation would be simple, the French/Cajun habit of using 4 vowels where one would do slightly increases the degree of difficulty. Instead of playing for 'New Orleans', the team is now stationed in 'San Antonio' (not 'San Antonieaux'). The name of the team remains recognizably close to the orignal: Saint becomes Santa. Although central Texas does not usually conjure up images of a Winter Wonderland, you have to admit that the San Antonio Santas sure does have a nice ring. All that is left to do is some minor uniform changes. A nice bright Christmas red would be lovely for the jerseys, with white trim and green pants, of course. The Fleur-De-Lise has to go. Instead, something like this would probably suffice:
