It was an interesting coincidence that our morning devotional talked about guy/girl relationships. In the ensuing discussion, the Architect said, "In youth group we talked about dating someone that wouldn't tempt you."

I understood exactly what he meant, but I just couldn't resist responding with "Which means you should really only date ugly girls...with BO."

At this point both boys started laughing hysterically while the Queen (may she live forever) exclaimed with mock indignance "Is that the criteria you used when you chose to date me?" It truly was not, per the evidence provided below:

Ok - not really. That is the Artist wearing my birthday wig. (Is there an appropriate name for friends who give you a wig as a birthday present to mock your French hairline?)

Of course, I asked her to close her eyes because I wanted to protect the hearts of my male readers. Today, I'm just not in the mood to dust off my sword and defend her from the hordes...again.
