Tough News
Today has been less than stellar. For starters, both my lovely Queen (May She Live Forever) and I have been coping with a mild case of stomach flu. That would be enough to spoil a normal day, but further developments turned that point into a non-issue.

This afternoon the princess was complaining about pain while going to the bathroom. Her complaint and our observations were such that the doctor wanted to see her immediately. Her initial diagnosis was simply acknowledgement that there was a problem along with a referral to a colo-rectal specialist and a promise to pull some strings so she could be seen early next week. She also mentioned that surgery is a very real possibility.

It breaks your heart to see a little one suffering. At this point I cannot imaging watching her go through surgery and then recovery. If you have a few moments to say a prayer for my little girl, it would be appreciated.

I’m so sorry to hear that. My wife and I will definitely be praying for your family.

I’m SO sorry. I’m absent-minded sometimes, but right this minute I’m going to go put it on an index card and tape it to the front of my fridge, so I’ll remember lots. We’ll be praying until you tell us we can stop.

Dear Father,
Will you even now touch this dear child’s body with your comfort and healing. Guide her doctors treatment and comfort her parents worry. I ask these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Dear Jesus, please help this wonderful man’s little girl.  And please help George Bush in killing Arab heathens, and may our country be blessed with oil. In Jesus’s name, I pray.

Amen.

I found this news when I stopped by Lucy’s Island.

Oh, I feel sad for you.  Know that I too will be praying for you.  The prayers are there above too, so hope this helps to see you through.
I know when people write down that they will pray, it does get to God in an even faster way.

Just hold her and read to your precious little lamb.  Get her mind thinking on good things.  Find colorful books to read and even buy the biggest crayola set available.  Then have her color her feelings on a white art tablet.

God bless all of your family.

The Bible says ~ God can move mountians. He’s been moving alot of mountains in our life ~ I know he will also be with you and do his thing. I’ll be praying.

Dear Political,

Are you looking for help?  Attention?  Distraction from the election results?  All of the above?  Or are you just medicated?

And what is with the link to a lame political news site?  Couldn’t you have at least linked to serious news site that didn’t depend upon soft-porn sponsors to subsidize it?

At any rate, as a non-believer (as I assume you are) you should know that mocking God is not a good idea.  True Christians pray for the salvation of the heathen, not their destruction.  And what kind of person would mock the beliefs of a man who is very concerned about the health of his daughter?  A person who needs help.

I sincerely pray that you find this help and should you have an open mind, I would start by discussing things with a Christian friend.  If you do not have such a friend, feel free to email me.  You can find my contact information at my site (http://www.solport.com).
