I think this is another of those “tempest in a teacup” things.
Employers have the right to demand certain things of their employees, especially as concerns company vehicles, dress, and the like. I don’t have a problem with that.
Ordering its removal from his personal vehicle would have been a different kettle of fish.

I don’t disagree with you, Bill. I just liked the quote for the algebraic equation part.
