Ahhh! It took about 3 days for our Aeryn to stop shaking last month and she wouldn’t eat for two days. We were able to take the collar off after two days when she was out and about with us, but we’d put it back on at night. We did the same thing with DJ the month before (yes, very busy around here!). One of the foster puppies came up without a collar and his neutering got infected, it wasn’t pretty and it was very painful and he went to the emergency vet less than 24 hours after arriving. As hard as it is to watch them with those darn lamp shades, at least you can rest assured you’re doing right by them! Thanks for the Carnival submission, you have an adorable pup!!
Today she relieved herself indoors, so I think she is trying to let us know she is not happy with life right now. It is further complicated by the fact that her favorite napping spot is on the couch and we have barricaded off the living room (and the bedrooms for that matter) because she is not supposed to jump on to and off of things.
Just a few more days and we can have our happy dog back.
