After all the nice comments on this post as well as some via email, I have decided to start creating blog designs for a modest fee. I just finished my first custom design and I believe it turned out rather nicely:

I am planning on adding a page to this site which details costs and points to examples of my work. I just haven't had time to go there yet...but now I'm on vacation!
Not today though...an uninvited guest is visiting me on my first day of vacation. I hope he doesn't stay too long. Mr. In Flu Enza is not usually considered good company. He has made a fevered run through our whole kingdom, and we are throwing up our arms, trying to figure out a way to expel him from within. (Ok - that was pretty lame...time to go lay down.)

Okay I really have meant to get over here and see your blog since I’ve seen you post comments elsewhere - time, time, time is not on my side. But today, Kevin (who is posting for Kate at electricvenom) pointed out your new design business and I decided to take a look.
I really like your design mainly because the font is really great for my bleary eyes to read. So if for no other reason (and this is the first thing I’ve read *g*) I will now have to visit your site because I can easily read it - LOL. Although I’m sure, from the comments I’ve seen you leave on other blogs, that I will enjoy your writing too.
