Last Words
I read about this last night and found it quite moving:
The poignant message was written in his own blood by a man who thought he was dying in Wednesday's deadly California train wreck: "I ♥ my kids. I ♥ Leslie."

The firefighter who found the man wedged in mangled wreckage choked up when he recounted the testament of love, finger-painted in blood that looked like it was running dry near the end.

This morning I learned that the man survived the wreck. I also found a picture of his message to his family:

Again, I'm incredibly moved how the final act of so many is to communicate their love to their loved ones. Excuse me...I think I need to go hug my family. You never know how many more opportunities you have.

This message was found by rescue workers on a portion of the train that crashed into the truck in California. The man who wrote it thought he was going to die and wrote his final message in his own blood.
