Cute cute pictures. Did you know that at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle (about a week after the Polar cub was born) we had a Sumatran tiger mom that abandoned her cub at 9 or 10 days old. The cub was limp and shivering with a fever and her mouth had turned gray. The staff figured she had about 48 hours to live when they stepped in to take over for her mother. No media hype to interfere with her care as yet.
