Hawaii Update
The Hawaii numbers must be legitimate...Cheney will be campaigning there on Sunday. (He will be countered by Al Gore and Alexandra Kerry.)
It would be amazing if the Rainbow state went from this color to the hue from the other end of the spectrum.

Out of curiosity, why is Democrat Blue and Republican Red? In most places the color Red and Conservative don’t go together.

That is an interesting question. It used to be the incumbent party got blue and the challenger was in red. But after 2000, the term “red states” stuck to Bush and everyone left the GOP as red.
I agree that the color is more fitting to those on the far left.
