Some might find the correlation of these two events confusing, but it is not that difficult as long as you understand a few simple rules. Example: It is generally considered bad form to clap between movements...unless we are on defense.
Exciting game. I thought I saw you there while I was catching glimpses on TV
Tied whilst I write this. Carr is my QB this week too!
Too bad they lost King. The Viking Hordes up here in the frozen north were all busy gloating.
Man they’re insufferable when they win.
What pieces did the Houston Civic Orchestra play and did the Princes and Princess enjoy them?
Kudos to you and the Queen for introducing the Royal Offspring to classical music.
The game was a great finish...to watch the team come back from 21 points down in the 4th quarter was really fun. As they were making their tying drive, the Astros has 2 on and 1 out in the bottom of the ninth and trailed by one run.
So much adrenaline and stomach acid...is such a short span of time. Both games ended with a Houston loss. :(
Szdfan, the first set was Russlan & Ludmilla by the Mikhail Glinka followed by Mozart’s Violin Concerto No 4 in D Major.
The second set was Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No 4 in F Minor.
The Artist has started violin this year and his director is in this civic symphony which is how we knew about the performance.
Ironically, a neighbor called on Saturday afternoon with tickets to that evening’s Houston Symphony but we were having a birthday party and could not accept them.
