BlogExplosion
Stephen and Nick encouraged me to try out BlogExplosion so I did, and although I am rabidly against anything multi-level, I actually like it.

How it works: You create an account and then use their link to surf blogs. It loads a blog for you to look at and if you stay there for 30 seconds or longer, you get credit for reading that blog. Then you click the continue button in the BlogExplosion banner and it gives you a new blog to read. Your own site ends up in the queue relative to how many blogs you have "read" through the BlogExplosion interface.

I don't really see this as a tool to massively increase my own traffic. I fully expect most of the hits from this source to be 30 seconds in length, from individuals who are padding their credit totals and don't read a single word from my site. I can live with that. What I find beneficial about it is the variety it has added to my blog reading.

I tend to read the same sites each day and routine can (and has) become dull. Although BlogExplosion loaded several really lousy sites, I also ran into a few fantastic reads which I have added to my bookmark list.

I recommend you give it a try. To get started, just click here.

"The blogging enemy is stealthful. A stealthful enemy must not be spared. The entire internet rose to their feet when first informed of this nightmarish evildoing. I demand that these mad blogs be shot -- each and every one of them!" * Aaron, for yet one more...

Wouldn’t simply hitting the refresh button lots of times in succession be more efficient?

Actually, it’s not the Ponzi scheme that I found interesting.  I was the random nature of the surfing which let me to places I never would have otherwise visited.

Blog Explosion is good for that--finding blogs you wouldn’t read otherwise.  In other words, a semi-entertaining way to kill some time on occasion.
The good thing is that you can at least block some of the crappy moonbat blogs so your eyes don’t have to be assaulted by them again!

Now I’m off to sign on and give you a 10 rating...the leftards kill “us” with that silly shit.  Of course, who cares?

They’re marketing it as a tool to deliver readers… when all it will deliver is a bit of traffic.  I say that if you have something interesting to say, the readers will come.

That being said, I think your alternate use for the service is interesting…
