Parlimentary procedure uses yea/nay votes and it is amusing to listen to. Many people are very serious about being as loud as possible. I suppose it would be possible to lose a majority vote if the minority uses more lung power. The amusing thing about these votes is that even on the no-brainer issues - like acknowledging the winner of an election held earlier in the day - there are always a few bozos who can be heard yelling no at the top of their lungs.

At this point, we have voted on so many issues (most of them extremely insiginficant) that even the enthusiam of the chronic naysayers is waning.
