While approving the temporary rules, a gentleman had an objection. He was recognized by the chair and began to speak on the complicated issues he had with the proposed rules. When he stated his name and district, an audible groan was heard across the auditorium.

One woman behind me heard the man next to her groan. She asked him if he knew the man. His reply: "No, but I know of him." It is interesting how one individual can hold 17 thousand people hostage for 15 minutes.

The impasse was finally broken when the Parlimentarian ruled that he was out of order for some obscure reason. I have concluded that the sole purpose of that position is to do exactly that. Forget the Sergeant-At-Arms...Parlimentarians are the true moonbat bouncers at this kind of event.
