Whoever did this understands little about firing up the opposition:

An Army veteran walked outside his house Monday morning to find his American flag in ashes.

Juan Ocasio says someone set the flag outside his home in Orlando on fire in the middle of the night. It left black marks on the wall where the fire burned.

Ocasio says he can't believe someone would burn an American flag, especially on Memorial Day.

Ocasio's wife went right out and bought another flag to display on the family's home. He says his neighbors told him another flag was burned in the neighborhood a few days ago.

There may be additional comprehension issues in the areas of respect and fire safety.
