Just finished my last event of the day, a press conference with Tom DeLay. It has been very interesting to see close and personal how the media and political figures relate to each other. Both Cornyn and DeLay treated the press much warmer than I expected. The media also treated the Senator and the Congressman with respect.

Attending and reporting from the convention has been a truly enjoyable (and exhausting) experience. But the time has come to head for home.
