Just had this conversation with the Princess:

 Daddy, is the com wuhking yet?
 Is what working yet?
 The com. The dot com.
 Oh. No, it is not working yet.

My home network is kind of complicated. It consists of 4 machines in my office wired with Cat 5; my notebook and my pda roaming via 802.11g; and four very old computers on the far side of the house using good old ethernet coax strung through the attic. At some point over the weekend, the attic coax failed.

Which is why the 'dot com' is not working.
