Davids Medienkritik points out the result of a television program's poll on the greatest German of all time:
Marx received a better ranking than German greats such as Goethe, Einstein, Gutenberg, Bismarck and Bach.
The top three (in order) were:
1. Konrad Adenauer
2. Martin Luther
3. Karl Marx
This article does point out that Hitler and other Nazis were excluded from the poll.
