Every citizen who boards an airplane needs to know that they are partly responsible for stopping a hijacking, should someone attempt it. After 9/11, the stakes have radically changed. It is no longer just about the passengers and the airplane.

It is encouraging that people seem to be more aware of the activity around them. Here is an excellent, and terribly scary example.
