I don't want to sound like someone who gets wrapped up in conspiracy theories, but some of the things going on have made me suspicious.
Starting with Kerry's ad using the forged documents that paralleled the CBS news story. Then there was the New York Times Magazine article with a quote from Bush about Social Security that ended up in another Kerry ad. The administration denied the quote was Bush's.
This week began with the NY times story about nearly 400 tons of missing explosives and a Kerry ad spouting the same "news". Kerry stumped all week harping on the missing explosives (between hugs and handshakes with Bill Clinton).
The questions and accusations from the 2000 election of disenfranchisement and voter obstruction are being magnified again. Some democrat groups are threatening to claim polling problems - even if there aren't any. This combined with early voting and provisional ballots are worrisome. Consider the U.N. observers are being brought in to watch the process. The same U.N. that put Libya in charge of their human rights commission.
As Prime Minister Alawi of Iraq addressed congress, John Kerry called him a puppet of the administration. The successes of Afghanistan's elections were largely ignored, even though women were allowed to vote and did so in remarkable numbers.
The media and the Democrats may be coincidentally working in concert but seem suspiciously conjoined. I feel that at the very heart of their attacks and attempts to call into question the results of America's election, is an effort to undermine the hope of democracy around the world.
