Maybe their motivation was pure but it is difficult to forgive something as incredibly stupid as this:
A church trying to teach about the crucifixion of Jesus performed an Easter show with actors whipping the Easter bunny and breaking eggs, upsetting several parents and young children.

People who attended Saturday's performance at Glassport's memorial stadium quoted performers as saying, "There is no Easter bunny," and described the show as being a demonstration of how Jesus was crucified.

The scourge of the Easter Bunny wasn't the whole show. One viewer also said that they also portrayed a drunken man and a self-mutilating woman. Not to mention the smashing of the eggs that were meant for an egg hunt. What was the purpose of the drama? They "wanted to convey that Easter is not just about the Easter bunny, it is about Jesus Christ."

Thanks. Your lack of sensibility and tact have sent a message that is 180° out of phase with the one you intended. A message that reflects not only on you, but on the rest of us as well.

And don't go and complain that the world is persecuting you simply because of what you believe. The negative attention you are receiving is not the world's fault. It is not the devil's fault either. The blame is solely your own. You came up with this stupid idea and unfortunately no one stopped you before you carried it out.
