Very amusing. What is more amusing is the growing dissatisfaction with the BCS and the bowls. I was hoping we would end up with several undefeated teams and wind up with another title game controversy. We got exactly what I wanted, and the UT/Cal issue is just gravy, my friends.

I confess I'm not disappointed in the least bit that Texas got the nod, especially considering that their final standing last year was quite similar to where Cal is now. Both teams are excellent and justice would have best been served with them perfectly tied – and then playing each other.

But there is no Justice in Bowl Championship Series…although when I look closely, I find both 'owl' and 'ham', which may suggest a Rice/Arkansas match-up to some.
