Interesting remarks from Former Senator Tom Daschle:
Outgoing Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle, D-S.D., said on Wednesday that the high point of his political career was saving peoples' lives.

"I think the proudest moment are those times when I actually had people come up to me and [say], "You saved my life," "You changed my life," he told NBC's "Today Show."

One would not expect someone so attached to the death tax would be so "pro-life". But I'm perfectly willing to let bygones be bygones, mostly since Tom's day is done and he is now out of office.

In honor of the illustrious career of the formerly senior Senator from South Dakota, KoF is proud to award him this "life"-time achievement award:

Enjoy the time off, Tom. We are.
