That is the concept that a BBC series is going to explore:
Filming has begun for a TV series which will examine how a community copes without women for seven days.

The villagers of Harby, near Lincoln, are taking part in The Week The Women Went, commissioned by BBC Three.

The men will be left to fill the domestic and community roles of village life, while their wives, mothers and sisters enjoy a mini-break.

Hmmm. It does sound like an interesting experiment, although not one I would enjoy participating in.

Right now it takes two of us working all day to keep the castle in order; losing the Queen (May she Stay Forever) for an extended time period would be a double-edged sword. My work load would double and my primary stress relief would be missing.

Sounds like a bad deal to me.
