This China newspaper is reporting that a U.A.E. newspaper has reported that Abu Mus'ab al-Zarqawi has been arrested. If you count this humble blog report, this information is third-hand at best.

I'm skeptical, yet optomistic.

UPDATE: Confirmations from Kazakhstan and Russia (TASS). Skepticism remains high.

UPDATE: The same information has been communicated (but not confirmed) from Kurdish Media.

UPDATE: With no offical confirmation yet, I'm fairly convinced that this is merely wishful thinking.

UPDATE: (8:00am, 12/05/2005) Still no official confirmation - but early this morning, Al-Jazeera also picked up this story.
