This seems a little unbalanced:
Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday condemned last week's suicide bombing in Tel Aviv and promised to chase down and punish the perpetrators, calling them "saboteurs" of peace. Friday night's bombing killed five people and shattered the relative calm following a Feb. 8 cease-fire declared by the Israeli and Palestinian leaders. Responsibility for the bombing was claimed by the Islamic Jihad in Syria. Those responsible will face justice, Abbas said at the end of a conference on Palestinian reforms here. "We assure you that we have begun taking a series of actions to find out the saboteurs and those responsible for this operation, and are chasing them down and punishing then," he said.Where are the cries that the bombing was justified? Where is the outrage at the occupation and persecution of the people? What is up with the PA leadership? This sure doesn't seem very Arafatesque. (Seems like seeds of hope are sprouting all over the region!)
